The Garden

Life inside a residential care home can be an isolating experience. Residents are encouraged to leave their rooms and join others in social activities creating a community inside the Home. These community relationships between the residents and the staff help to aid social inclusion.

The garden of the Home is a multi-use area accessible for all residents and visitors featuring a magnificent Magnolia, beautiful colourful boarders filled with sensory plants and a specially designed non-slip pathway designed to accommodate wide set wheelchairs, frames and walkers. The path circles around the outside of the garden creating the perfect short walk for regular exercise and is safe in the wet. Benches are placed along the path for convenience and for a chance to sit and admire the stunning views. The garden has colour all year round and regularly maintained by the manager and maintenance department.
